Choreographed by Katy Sterran in collaboration with MadEP, Grime Artist J Man Wv & Brightstar Boxing Academy, ‘Going The Distance!’ is an innovation of Grime Dance Theatre. Honouring the skill, culture & spirit of Boxing, Dance & Grime, the work tackles personal fights through empowering storytelling, promoting the resilience & strength of the human spirit.
The performance opens with an exciting programme of local Grime Artists & Boxing presentations, concluding with an explosive curtain-closer #WeArePowerful performed by young people from the East Midlands.
