Small Business Saturday – 1st December

01/10/2018

Small Business Saturday

Small Business Saturday takes place on 1 December this year and businesses are once again encouraged to get involved.

Small Business Saturday UK is a grassroots, non-commercial campaign, which highlights small business success and encourages consumers to ‘shop local’ and support small businesses in their communities.

Our Rangers will be visiting small businesses in the area with a special ‘selfie’ board and also filming some short videos so businesses can convey the importance of shopping small and ‘local’

A Small Business Saturday event for businesses will be held at Derby Enterprise Centre on Bridge Street on 1 December between 10am – 12.30pm. To keep up to date with the latest news about this event as well as information on how to get your FREE ticket, please keep an eye on future ebulletins or follow the Small Business Saturday team on Twitter at @smallbizderby.

Businesses can also download the Small Business Saturday app which enables you to keep up with the latest news, posts events and offers and much more. To download the app, click here.

If you would like a visit from our Rangers for a photo or short video to appear on our social media channels please contact the BID Office on 01332 419053.
