| Artcore Gallery is pleased to present Winter Narratives, a group exhibition which is the culmination of an international residency held in Baroda, India. The residency was undertaken by 7 artists, 2 from the East Midlands and 5 from within India, at a picturesque location in the Mahi River ravines on the outskirts of Vadodara city, from December 7 to 21, 2019. The 2-week artist’ Residency introduced India and its contemporary art world to the British artists and especially the strength of the Narrative in art produced by the artists from the Baroda School of Art (the Faculty of Fine Arts, M S University).The major takeaway from this Residency was interactive and proactive discussion between all of the artists as to the interactivity between both European and Indian art. |
