Thank you to all Cathedral Quarter businesses that have got behind the #RaiseTheBar Campaign so far – What an incredible effort!
Phase 2 of the campaign is now being put into action and we have a few asks of you, our regional and local business leaders, your businesses and your businesses customers:
Firstly, We are putting together a case study of businesses in the Cathedral Quarter and the challenges they are facing. We would be very grateful if you could complete this survey and return to us at enquiries@derbycathedralquarter.co.uk
- 60 seconds to save the High Street and our communities – Sign-ups for the petition needs to increase. We have 6,000. Please use the attached ’60 seconds to save our high streets #RaiseTheBar creative and issue across all channels.

- Get Involved – we need to encourage our businesses to get behind the campaign using their own communications channels. Right click and save the images at the bottom of this post for use on your own social media channels
- Video – Please take a 40 second video clip saying why you are backing the campaign and issue your own video across your networks. This needs to go out on all channels – you can call on businesses and customers to support the campaign too.
- Photo – Take a photo of yourself with a #RaiseTheBar poster and share across all platforms saying that you back the campaign linking to the website – www.raisethebarcampaign.com
- Questions to Government – we encourage you all to submit a question to national Government, mentioning #RaiseTheBar within the question. See link: https://www.gov.uk/ask

If you have any celebrities or high profile individuals in your area – contact them. Get them to support the campaign – this is all about building the critical mass now.
If we can mobilise your businesses and your businesses customers the campaign will grow exponentially so please use all of your networks and the tools attached.
