BB&J adapt business to adhere to Covid-19 rules

14/05/2020

BB&J, based on Iron Gate in Cathedral Quarter has taken steps to adapt how it conducts all aspects of its property business, including inspecting properties adhering to social distancing, where people are present, and undertaking valuation work at weekends when premises are vacant.

Valuation work for clients that are still in need of RICS compliant ’Red Book’ valuations is continuing so they can lend on property, but desktop or drive-by valuations, subject to a later re-inspection, are being allowed. On this basis, BB&J has recently valued a property portfolio of over twenty units on a desktop basis.
