Derby Museums will host a Celestial Ball on 10th November aiming to repeat last year’s success of raising £11,500, which was subsequently doubled by the Heritage Lottery Fund.

The Celestial Ball will be raising funds for the Derby Museums Endowment campaign. This will help to secure the future of Derby’s Museums for all.  They need to raise £1 million over the next four years, which will then be doubled by the Heritage Lottery Fund.

The evening begins with a Prosecco reception and a chance to explore the new gallery at the Museum and Art Gallery. Guests will then be invited to enjoy a three course dinner by Chef Ralph Skripek, an after dinner speech by Curator of Fine Art and Joseph Wright, Lucy Bamford and a charity auction with Charles Hanson. The evening will finish with live music.

An individual ticket costs £60 (or £600 for a table of ten).

If you would like to support Derby Museums, whilst also having enjoying a fantastic night out, please contact Jenny at Derby Museums on 01332 641901, email jennifer@derbymuseums.org.uk or pop into any of the museums.
