Derby has been named as the city with the most disposable income in the UK according to a new study.

The website Finder.com compiled the study by analysing average wages and living costs in each city and found that Derby people have an average of £1456 to spend each month after tax, bills and essential outgoings.

The research also claimed that people in Derby earn around £200 a month above the national average and have the second lowest living cost out of all 30 cities included in the study.
