Whether you need to unlock those last few rams on the app to complete the trail, see the stunning sight of the whole flock together, or you just want to say goodbye, here is your only chance to see all 30 Derby Ram Trail rams and all 80 of the school minis in one place, for the last time, before they ram-pede to be auctioned off to raise money for Derby Museums’ Endowment.
The rams will come to flock at Derby Museum & Art Gallery on The Wardwick, on Friday 3rd September until Sunday 5th September where you can book an hour slot, to see each and every ram, in the beautiful surroundings of the old library.

Please note that the first slot on each day, has been specially designated as a quiet session for those people in our community with autism or who need some additional space and quiet in order to enjoy this event. We advise travelling to the event on public transport. Derby Museum & Art Gallery on The Wardwick can be accessed by using the buses listed below, and hopping off at the Wardwick stop.
Derby benefits from a great range of low cost car parks including the Safest Car Park in the World, Parksafe, at Bold Lane, DE1 3NT, which is just 50 metres from the Museum and Art Gallery. The car park has 350 daytime spaces and there is a charge of £4.40 for up to 4 hours. There are 11 clearly marked Blue Badge parking spaces available free of charge. This car park is open twenty four hours a day.
Derby Museums can validate parking tickets for Assembly Rooms, Chapel Street and Bold Lane car parks, meaning you can park all day for just £2.50. Simply bring your car park ticket to Derby Museum and Art Gallery or the Museum of Making to be validated.
All 30 of the giant rams will be at the RamUnion Weekend. In addition, all of the painted mini rams from schools that were submitted will also be on display.
You will not be admitted to the site outside of the time slot allocated on your ticket.
You will not need to print or bring your ticket with you, as we will have a list of names on the door when you arrive.
Please arrive in good time for the start of your allocated time slot. As we expect the event to be very busy, we are unable to admit latecomers into the next time slot.
There are limited tickets available for each time slot, and we expect these to sell out, so we advise you to buy your ticket in advance to ensure you can get into the event at a time suitable for you. A small number of tickets may be available on the day but we cannot guarantee entry on arrival.
All paid tickets are non-refundable and are non-transferable, unless Derby Museums cancel or postpones the event. However if you receive a positive COVID-19 test result, or are told to self-isolate by the NHS Test & Trace app, Derby Museums will provide a full refund of the individual(s) ticket.
Yes the space is fully accessible, with a ramp available for wheelchair users.
Unfortunately we are not able to allow dogs (except Guide and Assistance Dogs).

Yes, all ticket proceeds go to Derby Museums Endowment and will be doubled with match funding from the National Lottery Heritage Fund.
