Marking 100 years since the world premiere of Dracula on stage, the Dracula Returns to Derby project is commissioning creative workshops to explore the connection between Derby and Dracula.
The workshops can be in any form from performance, writing, craft, costume … anything you can conceive of. The workshops are to take place between Oct 2024 and May 2025 at venues across the city.
We’re inviting creatives, artists, and makers to join us for a workshop development day, where you can learn more about the project, meet the team and share your workshop ideas.
That evening, attendees who express an interest will get a ticket to see the 7.30pm Black-Eyed Theatre production of Dracula at Derby Theatre (saving £30!).
2-3pm – Artist Welcome and networking
3-4pm – Dracula Returns To Derby presentation
4-5pm – ideas sharing and consultation
The event will continue post 5pm at Derby Theatre
