Alice and the Hair announce breast cancer awareness drive.

03/12/2021

Alice and the Hair are launching a Christmas campaign to show their support for breast cancer charity Coppafeel.

The award winning salon based on Sadler Gate in Derby’s Cathedral Quarter have arranged a number of events during the festive season to raise funds for the charity and also create awareness of the disease and the importance of checking your breasts regularly for any changes.

The salon have already decorated their frontage with a festive ‘boobies’ theme including a tree covered in ‘boob baubles’ and hand drawn elements, drawing the eye of passers by and visitors alike.

For those with a love of vintage clothing, on Saturday 4 December, the business plays host to a range of garments and accessories and for each piece sold, £1 will be donated to the Coppafeel charity. The following weekend, there will be a range of ‘tit tees’ created by PinkClouding Co for sale with all proceeds also going to the charity.

Owner Alice Rowley said ‘Breast Cancer affects 1 in 7 females and if caught early, the chances of successful treatment are very good. The Coppafeel charity focuses on promoting early detection of breast cancer by encouraging women under 30 to regularly check their boobs. We are very proud to be supporting such an influential charity and welcome all to join us for our forthcoming events and support this great cause.

Further events will be announced in due course.
