Derby City Council have launched a brand-new secure cycle facility as part of its commitment to promote and encourage sustainable travel.
Located inside Bold Lane car park is a secure and segregated lock up facility, accessible only by smart card.
Access to the area will only be available to those who have purchased a monthly membership. Standard membership includes a smart pass for access to the facility, use of the on-site lockers, pump and car park facilities, including vending machine and toilets. Premium membership offers additional access to the on-site tyre repair kit and multi-tool sets.
There will be a limited number of memberships available at launch, and if the scheme proves successful, it is hoped that capacity will be increased to match demand.
