Painting begins on the Derby Ram Trail statues

16/03/2020

Painting begins this week on the thirty sculptures that will be in place for the Derby Ram Trail.

As Presenting Partner, The Cathedral Quarter BID are very excited to see their chosen design ‘Groovy Derby Ram’ by local artist Paul McCormack come to life.

The Derby Ram Trail is a free discovery trail coming to Derby in the summer of 2020. From 19th June to 28th August, a flock of fabulously colourful and unique ram sculptures, each decorated by a different artist, will take you on a trail around the beautiful city of Derby.

Previous trails have had a big impact in other cities, increasing footfall and contributing significantly to the local economy. Businesses are encouraged to get involved in the Derby Ram Trail and maximise the benefits to their business.

For updates on the sculptures being painted and all other Ram Trail news, follow our social media channels.
