The windows on the St James Street side of the building are designed by Joseph Winsborrow. @josephwinsborrow
Currently based in Nottingham, UK, Joseph is a multi-media artist with a deep interest in mysticism and queer identity. Utilising performance, writing, sculpture, and drawing, they seek to explore intricacies of ritual magic, spiritual practice, and gender/sexuality.
Joseph’s current practice is focused on the research of historic magical practises throughout his home county of Devon, as well as their commonalities to other Pagan and Celtic histories. Having read Tarot and Tea Leaves for several years, they incorporate these historic divining methods into his work to create immersive participatory performances.
Having spent their childhood in Devon, Joseph relocated to Nottingham, where they graduated in Fine Art at Nottingham Trent University in 2017. His poetry has been published in several collections, and has exhibited in Nottingham, Derby, Birmingham, and Tilburg.

At the moment she is attending the East Meets West masterclasses in order to continue her journey as an emergent photographer. During the graduation, MA show the artist was awarded with QUAD/FORMAT fellowship which will support her to produce new work and project the creative career.
Yala artwork explores archival material combined with unexpected encounters in life. Yala’s art conveys storytelling bringing in different times, textures, and layers. Her work considers (dis)construction of her identity as a diasporic or transatlantic body in this immense and complex world. The material process is based on photography, but Sofia enjoys testing and presenting her work with the photographic medium alongside other formats and compositions. Sofia has a special approach in every work, the way she takes, or even incorporates its own individual and family identity as a starting point for a reflection on issues of collective relevance.

James McInerney has been running the Poetry Project since December 2018. Upon a visit to London, he was inspired by the Service Information boards on the London Underground that display train information and delays. James occasionally saw quotes from famous authors but never poetry. When he returned home he immediately messaged one of stations and was pleasantly surprised when they said yes. The aim of the project is to get poetry into places you wouldn’t normally see it and open people`s eyes to the joy of poetry. Since this project has been running, the response from the commuters has been amazing!
Visit the Poetry Project Website and join in with the global participation of spreading a wellbeing message across the globe.
